The ToolBoxes available so far are Drum & Bass tools (GrooveTool 1). But other instrument tools are planned to be released soon. Note that when we say "Drum & Bass" we mean: Bass-guitar and Drumkit. Not the rather stressful electronic musical genre involving fast beats, and probably a couple of TB-303´s.......

The general idea is to provide a certain groove or riff for one or two instruments in all 12 keys, and in different tempos. The "GrooveTool 1" is offered in 75-110 bpm* versions (5 bpm intervals). 

In the "GrooveTool 1" the drum part contains 4 loops : 1 main loop and 3 variations/fills.
These are mapped to the keys C1 – F1, using the white keys only.

The bass part contains 12 loops, one for each note of a chromatic scale. These are mapped to the keys D2 – C#3.

 

The example below, shows the keymap of the GrooveTool 1, variation 1a (75 bpm).

On the mp3 demos you can hear the slight variations in the groove between the a, b, c & d parts; pay attention to the kick and bass patterns.

We added a rhodes part so the "GrooveTool" could be demoed in a musical context. Please note that the Rhodes part is not included. The demos are simple 4 chord groove, but we also made a "Main Demo" which is a chord-sequence moving across all 12 keys. This should give an idea of how the complete kit works.
