Release Settings
The release settings can be an issue when you are using soundscape or atmosphere kinda sounds, like the samples found in our "MysteryBox" products. Often these will benefit from a longer release time.
You probably shoudn´t set the release time to an absolute maximum, but take a little time to experiment with the release time parameter. It depends on the samples you are using.
To hear an example of one of the "MysteryBox 3" samples with a short release time, please click here. The sample was triggered by a MIDI note.
To hear the same sample being triggered by the same MIDI note, but with a longer release time, please click here.
The sample is actually much longer in time, but we only needed to playback the beginning in order to demo the difference it makes to adjust the release time setting.
Below is a detailed description for each of the soft samplers we provide program files for.
